Muddy Creek Artist Guild at BWI Gateway Gallery
This exhibit at BWI Marshall Airport provides an excellent opportunity for local Anne Arundel County artists to showcase their talents to thousands of travelers. Exhibits rotate every four months, each with a new theme. Located between Concourse C&D in departures (pre-security).
All 2-D mediums are welcome, and the artwork is displayed in a public open space, so artworks must be framed or have edging that can be drilled into the wall. See the prospectus for more of the exhibition guidelines.

The Arts Council of Anne Arundel County invites all Muddy Creek Artists Guild Members to apply to this exhibition opportunity at the BW Gateway Gallery. The jurors will consider any two-dimensional work in accordance with the guidelines below. Selected works will be displayed at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, between concourses C & D (pre-security) in departures, from August 3 to November 30, 2026.
JURORS—The Arts Council Exhibition Committee is pleased to serve as the judge for this exhibition. Members include Artist, Greta Chapin McGill, Director of Catering and Conference Services at Live! Casino & Hotel, Jay Day, Executive Director of The Nonprofit Center, Jennifer Purcell, PhD, and sculptor and AACC professor Wilfredo Valladares-Lara.
ENTRY
Size Limitations: Without exception, the outside dimensions may not exceed 40” high by 72” wide, and the minimum dimensions must be 6” high by 6” wide. Weight cannot exceed 60 pounds.
Entries: A maximum of 3 original works may be entered.
Entry Fees: No Fees, but must be a current member of the Muddy Creek Guild
Eligible Artwork
Any two-dimensional work can be submitted for consideration.
No clip frames or taped edges are accepted. The work must be presented in a manner appropriate to the artwork and able to accommodate a locking device. Works shall NOT BE WIRED or have any items in the back of framefor hanging.
**Frames must be a MINIMUM of one-half inch (½’’) wide in order to accommodate the locking device**
